OCD & calories

I saw this image online and was completely in full agreement with the statement. It bothers me so much to see clients eating unhealthy, yet they count calories. Its such a conundrum. My suggestion is to not focus so much on caloric intake, but on preparing for and eating a balanced meal. Stay clear of the middle aisles at the grocery store, unless they are 100% of whatever it is that you are buying, with no added preservatives. Most do not realize how obsessive counting calories can be. If you stay clear of foods with long labels, you've won half the battle. Go local.
