Detoxifying Juice Recipe

It is not a secret that I enjoy discussing healthy colons and bowel movements, in fact, I am sure to make you cringe with how candid I am about the topic!

This time last year, I was gearing up to undergo my first colonoscopy and prior to my procedure, I had to drink 3 different solutions to completely cleanse my colon. Of course, if I had it my way, I would have chosen to flush my system out the "natural" way.

Soooo, really there's no easy way to tell you about my juice recipe, other than it is nutritious and detoxifying! If you are in need of a good cleansing, I guarantee you won't be disappointed with this mix!

Ingredients:
- 7 Celery Stalks
- 3 Cucumbers
- 2 Pears
- 1 Lemon
- 1 Ginger nub
- 1/2 tbs of Maca Root (you can exclude, if not on hand)
- After juicing the above ingredients, pour over ice and serve!

I typically will drink this first thing in the morning, especially if I am not in a rush to head out!
